PREMIERE: UNO NYC Shares Don Froth’s New ‘REflex’ EP

Don Froth

“REflex is listening to a lot of music, all of the time,” says underground dance producer Don Froth, referring to his new UNO NYC record. “Avoiding over scheduling and over connectivity. Being happy with less, making mistakes and intermittent doses of risk.”

That may seem like a lot to deal with on a Wednesday afternoon, but rest assured that REflex is a much-needed shot in the arm of acid house, dubstep and UK garage. Which would explain why Froth’s gotten support from such influential figures as Gilles Peterson, Mary Anne Hobbs, the xx and Massive Attack.
