LCD Soundsystem, The Juan MacLean Members Reveal New Project

Any who’s ever seen LCD Soundsystem play knows Pat Mahoney is a killer drummer, not to mention a decent DJ as part of James Murphy’s traveling Special Disco Version party. What we didn’t know is that he can actually hold a tune, something that’s made abundantly clear by “Down South,” the debut DFA single of Mahoney’s new project with Dennis McNany (a.k.a. Jee Day, a member of the Juan MacLean and founder of Run-Roc Records).
