Dirty Projectors know some of you are dirt poor and/or don’t own a turntable. That’s why they just uploaded a new limited 7-inch called “Ascending Melody”–because they like you.
“These songs are from the Bitte Orca sessions,” the band wrote on their MySpace page. “They are awesome but they just didn’t fit with the vibe of the album. Kinda like ‘Soul To Squeeze’ on Blood Sugar Sex Magik.”
The only catch here is you have to sign up for the band’s E-mail list. But hey, you can always hit delete every time they invade your inbox, right? Check the download link after the jump along with the video for “Soul To Squeeze.”
