thank goodness someone else hasn’t gotten swallowed whole by the baffling hype machine that’s deemed fleet foxes a worthy listen. A band of my morning horses? No thanks.

Correction: I got a copy of the actual Virgins album today and it looks like the they cut “Fast Times.” Fine by me. It was easily the weakest song on the promo copy. But in its place is a track called “Murder,” which is a nutzo dance number. Sounds sorta out of place among the rest of the songs. But it’s pretty fun. And I’m pretty sure it’s the reason the record got slapped with a Parental Advisory label.
