Today is NOT the greatest day James Ihas ever known.

Today is NOT the greatest day James Iha's ever known.

The Artist: Hell’s house band.

Their Latest Release: Hopefully none, ever … but apparently a self-titled release in April on S-Curve.

The Set in a Few Sentences: We may never know how this unholy union of James Iha (A Perfect Circle, The Smashing Pumpkins), Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick) and Taylor Hanson (err, Hanson) came to be, but my money is on a Roswell-style CIA cover up of unscrupulous government doings. I’d like to say that this was at least entertaining, but it was flaccid, middling pop music culled from the worst dredges of each member’s main bands.

P.S. Taylor Hanson still looks like a girl.

And a Letter Grade: D

    agreed. this band is garbage.
James Iha has hit a new low, although I don’t really remember him being that brilliant of a guitarist in the first place.
