When Pitchfork reported on Beck’s producer role in Thurston Moore’s new solo album yesterday, they vaguely added that the alt-rock icons “are old buddies who have teamed up for occasional projects in the past.” Projects like Moore’s 120 Minutes stint, where he invited Beck right on the cusp of his “Loser” breakthrough and invited Mike D over for an impromptu jam?
