[Thump] Mogwai are no stranger to remixes. In fact, they recruited everyone from My Bloody Valentine to Surgeon for a remix album version of their side-long “Mogwai Fear Satan” single way back in 1998. Their latest commission arrives 15 years later, with Koreless sending a series of clicks and cuts across the band’s “Blues Hour” track. It’s a definite slow-burner, slapped against the studio walls like Aphex Twin’s “Bucephalus Bouncing Ball.”
