PC Music Form ‘Perfect Breed of Major Label’ With Columbia Records

PC Music x Columbia Records

The Top 40 takeover aspirations of PC Music reached new heights today with news that the digital label just signed a special deal with Columbia Records. Here’s what A.G. Cook had to say about the surreal partnership via Facebook:

A new, perfect breed of major label. A new, highly advanced pop weapon. We’re very excited to announce our partnership with Columbia Records, a truly ancient industry legend.

We’ve been very busy this summer and finally the time has come to start unleashing large scale content of all shapes and sizes. Our first official signing is old friend and music business heartthrob Danny L Harle, whose forthcoming Broken Flowers EP is already breaking records left, right and centre.

Concurrent to this development we will continue to enforce a fast paced production line of laplanders and lifestyles, sups and secret mixes, wannabes, warlords and western beats. A multi-tier attack exposing the radical dna of chart music, and the heart and soul behind every lab creation. To be continued…

PC Music will throw a release party for Harle’s record on November 18th at XOYO in London, with solo appearances by the Dux Content duo and additional sets from easyFun, Felicita, Spinee and a few special guests.
