Now that Michael Gira‘s surprised miscreants like us with news of a Jarboe-less Swans reunion, we’ve been left with no choice but to play Children of God on repeat this morning. And then there are the following classic video clips, a YouTube transfer of the band’s rare concert video, A Long Slow Screw, and a short but bittersweet doc from the Czech Republic. As for what Jarboe thinks of all this, she posted the following vague statement on her Web site last night: “Sometimes silence is the best answer. Sometimes being bold and just stating what you want is the best answer. As for when to do either, that decision comes with the wisdom of life itself. And not be quick to judge like a jack in the box. Give it a try and don’t dismiss an experience. You might be handsomely surprised.”
