As some of you may have noticed, we’re huge Barn Owl fans around here. Not just the duo’s astral plane albums, either; we’ve also been known to track down the respective solo LPs of Jon Porras and Evan Caminiti, even the really limited ones. The video above is not from the former’s new record, but it does provide a nice entry point into the expansive, Earth-y tones of Porras’ Black Mesa full-length, which is due out on April 17th through Thrill Jockey.
