PREMIERE: Tropic of Cancer, “The One Left”

Tropic of Cancer's Camella Lobo

Tropic of Cancer's Camella Lobo

While it’s not quite the album we were hoping for, we’ll happily take another 12” from Tropic of Cancer–one that picks right up where last year’s The Sorrow of Two Blooms left off, peppering Camella Lobo’s spectral transmissions with moonlit drum machines, sinewy synths and cold-blooded chords. Bleak but beautiful yet again, in other words.

Sample the A-side of Permissions of Love below alongside a couple live dates with Demdike Stare, and be sure to keep your eye on Mannequin Mailorder if you want one of just 300 vinyl copies when it drops on May 28th…
