Hi friends, I present to you a compilation of remixes that I made between 2005 and 2010 of various artists that have either been rejected, unreleased or just straight up unfinished. Some were made for fun while others were for hire. Needless to say a lot of the mixdowns are, well, questionable. Either way, nice effort right?

Shipping now from All City is the third installment in the Dublin imprint’s Views of Saturn series, vinyl-only tributes to Sun Ra that have included entries from Austin Peralta and Ras G. This one’s courtesy of Machinedrum, who—in the words of All City—”applies his spur of the moment style to the 1979 Sun Ra classic, ‘Door of the Cosmos’. A slightly different take from the previous two, but equally as experimental in its own right, his trademark frenetic psychedelic high speed beats are at work here for a truly unique interpretation of one of Sun Ra’s most recognisable works.”

LISTEN: Azealia Banks Fires Back at Angel Haze With the Machinedrum-Produced “No Problems”

And the year’s first unfortunate feud continues with a fire-spitting Azealia Banks track. Driven by the siren call samples and squashed synth lines of Machinedrum, “No Problems” features verses like “Bad queen is my pedigree/ Bad bitch is my legacy/ You mad bitch/ You average” and “You not my type/I need a hotter bitch/ From New York/ Born and bred/ You get it.”

It’s a little overlong, but we’ll take a speaker-slapping Machinedrum beat over a Diplo demo any day. Your move, Angel Haze.
