In yet another example of how well some dance-rock records have aged (see also: Bloc Party’s recent show), The Faint have lined up an expanded, remastered version of their definitive album, 2001’s Danse Macabre. Due out October 30th through Saddle Creek, the deluxe edition features six bonus tracks and a DVD of archival footage that includes live clips and old projection videos.
As if often the case these days, the band–sans founding bassist/Broken Spindles frontman Joel Peterson, who recently left their lineup after more than 15 years–will also hit the road to revisit the entire record alongside some new songs and old favorites this fall.
