Fetishistic design nerds will dig the following trailer just as much as serious David Bowie fans, what with the way it puts the packaging of The Next Day Extra on a pedestal, placing product shots against a cold industrial backdrop and a new cut called “Atomica.” Expect more official leaks from the expanded album throughout the day, when the rest of “Atomica” and two other new tracks (“Born in a UFO,” “Like a Rocket Man”) are broadcasted by the BBC in the hours leading up to tonight’s Mercury Prize announcement.
