We’re not sure what’s more disturbing: (A) M.I.A.‘s insistence on using the above photo as the lead press shot for her as-yet-untitled third album, or (B) the following Romain-Gavras video, which we posted along with the Parisian director’s other key music videos. (He also co-directed 2008’s Justice doc, A Cross the Universe.)
M.I.A.’s new album is due out June 29 through N.E.E.T./XL/Interscope. We have a feeling it’s not going to be political at all.
