Beck has finally confirmed the release date and sequence of songs for his latest full-length, the Danger Mouse-produced Modern Guilt. According to a press release from Mr. Hansen’s reps, the disc is due out on July 8 through DGC (July 7 on XL in the UK/Europe) and features 10 new tracks that “range in lyrical tone from introspection and social commentary to off the cuff wordplay and lighthearted humor. Musically, [they] vacillate between economy and experimentation, hybrid and pop classicism, while consistently manifesting Beck and Danger Mouse’s shared interest in psych-rock, folk, electronic minimalism and orchestration.”
