So we realize the Ramones are par for the Intro to Punk course and all, but the following Cars-worshiping cover is worth a listen if for no other reason than its shits & giggles status as the lead single off the only compilation self-titled‘s ever been affiliated with–a Ramones tribute we ‘produced’ with the lead singer of Subpar Brakers.
Anyway, we blame the holidays for making us feel nostalgic. That said, this cut is actually quite killer, and makes us wonder where the hell Mr. TV People is these days. (The Syracuse-based ‘band’ was actually one very socially-awkward guy, discovered during our music industry tenure at SU.)
