Adam Green Announces Special Lit Lounge Show, Shares a Song Off ‘Minor Love’

Adam Green, the anti-folk survivor best known for ‘that Juno song’ and such family favorites as “Choke on a Cock” and “Crackhouse Blues,” has revealed the details of his sixth (?!) solo record, Minor Love. Due out February 16 through Fat Possum, it features the production of Devendra Banhart’s bosom buddy (Noah Georgeson) and 14 songs that’ll most certainly make you go “hmmm.”

We haven’t heard the full record yet, but Green will be previewing some of it at Lit Lounge tonight. The one-off show is $6 and starts at 10, with support slot sets from The Shining Twins and Delilah. More tour dates and a complete Minor Love tracklisting are after the jump, along with a fresh slice of Lower East Side rock.
