Chromatics Announce Long-Awaited New Album, ‘Kill For Love’

As much as we’ve always loved Johnny Jewel and Mike Simonetti’s Italians Do It Better label, the former’s attention to detail in the studio has meant delay after delay in the new album department. We hear that’s about to change in 2012, as Jewel’s two main projects, Chromatics and Glass Candy, both get ready to release long-awaited new LPs. The former even revealed some details late Monday night, sharing the following on Facebook:

Our new album Kill For Love is finished & will be out in January! Between now & then, we’ll be leaking videos & singles from it. The first single “Kill For Love” is out now on iTunes, & Alberto Rossini’s beautiful video for the single is up on YouTube. The 12″ version with exclusive trax on the b side coming soon. 2012 is going to be insane! Kicking it off right with a huge Italians Do It Better party in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve! Live sets from Glass Candy, Desire, & Chromatics. Plus DJ sets from Mike Simonetti & friends all night long. See you there!
