After dropping a free EP of 16-bit music last month, Joker is back to his all-purple-everything ways with “Arabian Nights,” a thick slice of self-proclaimed “space boy goon music” that sets a neck-snapping groove against buzz-sawed synths and Middle Eastern melodies. Sounds like someone is determined to regain his ground after a disappointing 2011 debut (The Vision).
