As pointed out by Four Tet on Twitter, Triple J’s Mix Up show has aired an exclusive premiere of Hudson Mohawke’s “Parallel Jalebi” remix. It keeps the original’s hazy harmonies but ups the dancefloor factors with bleacher-stomping beats and a steady build that wastes no time in turning the track from a pleasant experience to one that’s best described as a hands-in-the-air-like-you-just-don’t-care DJ tool. The end sounds a little abrupt though, which makes sense considering HudMo just explained that the radio rip below is from an unfinished version…
