LCD Soundsystem Readies 5-LP Box Set of Final MSG Show For Record Store Day

Anyone still looking for a memento of LCD Soundsystem’s last show—what, you don’t want to watch a three-and-a-half-hour live DVD?—will have a chance to own the band’s sprawling Madison Square Garden performance on Record Store Day, when the 5-LP pressing of The Long Goodbye gets an early release through Warner Bros. (It’s due out digitally and in a secondary vinyl run on May 20th.) Included in the box set is a complete live recording of the Nike-commissioned Manuel Göttsching nod “45:33” (featuring vocals from Reggie Watts), a “North American Scum” duet with Arcade Fire, and a raucous rendition of James Murphy’s definitive statement, “Losing My Edge,” which is available to view below, along with the album’s complete tracklisting…
