Kings of Convenience co-founder Erlend Øye has quietly released a new digital single called “La Prima Estate,” a sun-kissed soft disco number that happens to be sung in Italian. (The Norwegian singer has mastered the language while living in Sicily.) No word yet on whether this is the lead single from Øye’s first solo album in a decade or simply a one-off release; either way, “La Prima Estate” can be downloaded at iTunes and streamed in full below:
