As some of you may know, the one-and-only DJ Cam is closing our official SXSW party at Karma–the Austin venue, not the Jersey Shore one–tonight, right after a rare/epic ambient set by Moby. Now, we’re aware that some of you may have missed the first phase of Cam’s career–the part where his name was repeatedly dropped in the same trend pieces as DJ Krush, DJ Shadow, and other beat conductors who lift their loops from the dustiest crates around.
