Of all the alternate takes set to land on Disclosure’s remix compilation this week, Larry Heard’s weightless “Chillout Mix” of “Help Me Lose My Mind” is about as close as the UK duo gets to having the deep-house baton passed down in a painstakingly produced act of mutual admiration. The beat’s barely there and the song hangs in the balance for eight minutes straight, but in doing so, Heard brings its hook right on home just as the sun grazes the producer’s horizon point.
