Beck Announces New ‘Morning Phase’ Album, Signs to Capitol Records

After firing off a string of self-released singles over the summer, Beck is back on a major label for his first new album in more than five years. Due out next February through Capitol, Morning Phase is “described as a companion piece of sorts to Beck’s 2002 classic Sea Change,” complete with appearances from some of that deeply personal—and downright beautiful—album’s guest musicians, including Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Joey Waronker, Smokey Hormel, Roger Joseph Manning Jr. and Jason Falkner.
