VIDEO PREMIERE: New Bums, “The Killers and Me”

Standing in stark contrast to the explosive, feedback-engulfed live recordings Ben Chasny’s Rangda trio—a free-wheeling collaboration with Chris Corsano and Richard Bishop—released as a limited 10” a few months back, New Bums finds the Six Organs of Admittance lifer exploring his fireside folk side with Donovan Quinn of The Skygreen Leopards. The duo’s debut album, Voices in a Rented Room, is due out February 18th through Chasny’s longtime label Drag City. Check out its latest slow-burning single in monochromatic video form above, and if you dig what you hear, be sure to check out the 200 Years record Chasny cut from a similar cloth with Magik Markers frontwoman Elisa Ambrogio a few years back.

New Bums will also hit the road, guitars in tow, this spring. Check out the dates and details for that below, along with the pair’s previously shared “Black Bough”…
