As she revealed at the Pitchfork Music Festival a couple weekends ago, Frankie Rose has already completed the follow-up to last year’s synth-glazed Interstellar LP. Due out September 24th through her new home Fat Possum, Herein Wild reaches for the rafters with “Sorrow,” a mid-fi production that stretches Rose’s sound out and walks off into the sunset alongside a sweeping (synthetic?) string section.
