As the music industry continues to mourn the loss of Lou Reed, one of the many artists who owes a lot to Reed’s solo career and Velvet Underground recordings has shared a beautiful live rendition of the song “Ride Into the Sun.” Captured at New York’s Beacon Theatre during Reed’s Set the Twilight Reeling tour, it features the fallen icon singing alongside Dean Wareham of Luna, who opened the trek and covered the VU outtake on their own Slide EP in 1993.
