A few weeks back, we pointed out the likelihood (read: very) of Slowdive recording their first record since 1995’s Pygmalion LP. Now they appear to be delaying the inevitable by lining up North American tour dates through early November.

“North America was good to Slowdive back in the 1990s,” the group explained in a press release. “The fact that the last Slowdive concert was performed in Toronto (at Lee’s Palace) in 1994 is poignant. It felt like we were playing to people who ‘got it’ and some of our favorite performances were on those tours. We have a special connection to our audience in North America and we can’t wait to return in 2014!”

Here’s that Lee’s Palace set in its entirety, along with a complete rundown of the band’s 2014 dates…
