Most of these songs came from my teenage years when I would mail order Wax Trax! titles and check off the boxes on the inventory list that came with their records. Other songs immediately summon the dark, foggy dancefloor of The Bank, a former goth club in New York City, where I would go dancing every weekend.

I wanted to combine my favorites from this era of my life alongside some classic spooky acid-house songs and other sample-filled horror soundtracks…
