As promised last week, the sole new song on David Bowie’s latest career-spanning compilation is a “jazz-oriented” single brimming with bright, restless bursts of brass, vaudevillian vocals, and a drum beat that’s a few BPMs away from being an “Amen” break or an Earthling B-side.
While producer Tony Visconti recently backpedaled on a CNN report that alluded to a new album, one can only hope that they’re merely taking the time to craft an LP as full of life as this song…
