Stream Trevor Jackson’s Limited Station to Station 12”, “300 Words”

Trevor Jackson

As if his last Vinyl Factory collaboration—F O R M A T, an album spread across 12 physical editions, including several vinyl pressings, an 8-track, and a DAT—wasn’t ambitious enough, Trevor Jackson is already back with a new limited 12” called “300 Words.” Recorded live in London as part of Doug Aitken’s month-long Station to Station series and cut straight to vinyl on-site, the piece features Jackson’s loose synth parts and fractured electronics, a spoken word segment written by Åbäke and performed by Emma Berit Smit, and the “found sounds” of The Horrors’ own Tom Furse.

True to its title, the record is limited to just 300 copies. Pre-order a copy here, stream it in full below, and check out a library music mix Furse cut for our Needle Exchange series here.
