Yeasayer is easy to root for. (And not just because we put ’em on for CMJ with MGMT two years ago.) The guys had been holed up in a Woodstock studio to finish their follow-up to 2007’s All Hour Cymbals. (And according to their manager’s blog, they’re in the mixing stages.) But this past Thursday, the group played Pier 54 at Hudson River Park for free, and photographer Victoria Jacob snapped shots for self-titled from the stage. Check out more photos after the jump.
