HEALTH Make Us a Mixtape of Songs That Keep Them Sane

HEALTH

We had a simple idea when we saw the seemingly endless tour cycle for HEALTH this spring: Why not ask the band to break down some of the songs that keep them sane on the road? The LA trio fired a rather lovely set right back at us, including crucial selections from Brian Eno, Black Sabbath, Burial, The Durutti Column, Wire, Mike Oldfield, and more.

“This is the DRIFT ZONE,” they explained in an email. “Tunes to inspire contemplation and relaxation. Songs to drift off to, with our heads against the window, watching the American scenery pass us by.”

Have a listen via YouTube below, or subscribe to the entire set via Spotify. HEALTH is also playing a couple of hometown shows this weekend before taking a slight break and playing some overseas dates this summer….
