Well this is exactly what we needed after last night’s noise fest: a meditative solo number from Mark McGuire, echoing his Emeralds work in its extraterrestrial guitar tones but otherwise carving out a new corner in his immense back catalog. As suggested by the sunset on your left, that’d be a soul-searching survey of synthetic strings, gleaming power chords and weightless, buried lyrics like “All I know for sure, is there must be something more.”
